CDPHE - Colorado Clean Diesel

CEO - Vehicle Exchange Program

CEO - Vehicle Exchange Program

Colorado's Clean Diesel Program offers grants to help businesses make the switch to cleaner equipment. This initiative provides significant rebates, with up to $50,000 available for replacing certain diesel equipment—such as lawn and construction machinery—with new all-electric or hybrid-electric alternatives.

The program offsets the cost of upgrading, making it more affordable for businesses to reduce emissions and improve air quality across the state. By participating, companies can not only contribute to a healthier environment but also potentially lower  operational costs.

The program is part of a broader effort by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) to promote cleaner technologies.

Are you ready to stop pouring money into an old car that’s 12 years or older? The federal EV tax credit (up to $7,500) is ending soon, but you can still combine it with Colorado's state incentives and the Vehicle Exchange Program to get up to $6,000 for your used vehicle.

This is your chance to trade in your high-maintenance ride for a brand new electric vehicle that will save you money on fuel and repairs.

To get started, you must apply for the exchange program online before you purchase your car. Visit the Energy Office website to learn more and connect with a participating dealership today.

Say goodbye to your old gas-powered lawn mower and hello to a cleaner, quieter yard.

The Regional Air Quality Council (RAQC) offers a voucher program to help individuals and organizations replace their polluting lawn equipment with rechargeable electric-powered alternatives. By recycling your gas-powered gear, you can get a voucher to help cover the cost of a new, environmentally friendly mower, trimmer, or leaf blower.

It's a simple way to improve the air quality in your community, reduce noise pollution, and make a positive impact.
