LaSheita is the visionary of Women Who Charge (WWC). Recognizing the lack of representation and support for women in the male-dominated electric transportation industry, she took it upon herself in 2020 to create an inclusive space for women to connect, inspire, and empower each other. With her extensive experience in the electric vehicle sector, she drives WWC's mission to promote and increase the presence of women in leadership positions in the field.
A dedicated advocate for the expansion of electric vehicles and sustainability, LaSheita is deeply involved in shaping policy and practice in Colorado. She actively contributes to the Denver Electric Vehicle Council and serves on the transportation subcommittee of the Denver Sustainability Advisory Committee. Furthermore, her commitment to a more equitable and environmentally-friendly future is demonstrated through her work on the Equity, Policy, and EV Battery Recycling committees for the Colorado Energy Office. Through her leadership, WWC has become an influential platform for connection, knowledge-sharing, and empowerment in electric mobility.

Lisa Feeney brings years of dedicated experience in the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) sector, spanning infrastructure, software, and installation verticals. Her professional tenure includes roles at SemaConnect (now Blink Charging) and Winn-Marion, where she gained comprehensive knowledge of the charging ecosystem.
Given her history in industries often dominated by men, including a background in a company with roots in the oil and gas sector, Lisa is deeply committed to the WWC mission of creating visible female leadership in clean transportation. Lisa collaborates closely with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program and focuses on ensuring Colorado’s statewide EV adoption is supported by robust, well-managed charging infrastructure.

She currently collaborates with cross-functional teams at E Source to develop feasible solutions that help utilities across the U.S. and Canada meet their transportation electrification goals. Monica previously managed a suite of EV programs for a major multi-state utility company.
Holding a JD and an MBA, her unique background allows her to facilitate critical conversations around policy, regulation, and finance that impact statewide EV adoption. Monica is dedicated to advocating for strategies that frame EV ownership as attainable and cost-saving for all Coloradans, helping the board maintain a pulse on the complex regulatory changes impacting the industry.

Her professional and volunteer work centers on community connection, eliminating barriers, and ensuring that strategic growth is grounded in equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Lea’s expertise is invaluable in helping WWC strengthen its commitment to breaking down belief systems that limit economic empowerment, particularly for Black women in tech and skilled trades. She provides a crucial perspective on community engagement and ensuring that the benefits of Colorado’s clean energy transition reach the historically marginalized communities WWC serves.
