Generation & Motion Series
Building Energy Literacy for Women
Colorado is entering a new era of electrification, infrastructure investment, energy resiliency, and transportation change. Yet many women — including professionals, parents, community leaders, and curious residents — are looking for practical ways to better understand the systems shaping these conversations.
Women Who Charge created the Generation & Motion Series to make energy literacy more accessible.
This one-month professional development experience is designed for women who want a clearer understanding of how energy is generated, delivered, priced, stored, and used across modern transportation and infrastructure systems.
Through classroom strategy sessions and guided field observations, participants gain practical exposure to Colorado’s evolving energy landscape — without needing a technical background or formal engineering education.
The Experience
